The COMBIped® Brace combines the strength of the wire brace with the advantages of the adhesive brace.
A length of spring stainless steel wire with a hook at one end is attached under one edge of the nail. The other end of the wire is embedded in a small plastic pad, that is simply stuck on the other side of the nail.
The COMBIped® Brace applies a constant spring effect to both sides of the nail, as a result of the wires reset force. Pressure on the nail can be easily regulated by choosing the suitable strength of the wire to be used and/or slightly pre-forming of the wire to shape. Very malformed nails can be corrected with this brace. The results are quickly visible.
