The Podofix® Active Adhesive Brace, is flexible and can be initially fitted to any nail form without tension. Tension is then applied and controlled by a wire embedded in the elastic plastic pad of the Podofix Brace which is tightened once the brace is adhered by the glue. This wire will evenly distribute tension over the surface of the nail. This guarantees a perfect fit, support and maximum effect. After the brace is adhered and the wire tightened the notch in the plastic is filled with gel.
